Phil and Jen | Louisa, VA | Private Family Estate
Louisa, Virginia is already pretty enough.
Jen and Phil are already the coolest (in case you don’t remember from their engagement session).
Add in double ceremonies, great speeches, an awesome dance party, a great sunset, and the best vendors… and I can hardly even lower this blog post down to a normal number of photos.
Jen and Phil described their wedding as a “Chinese-fusion farm wedding”.
Jen is a first generation Chinese-American and the entire wedding took place on Phil’s family farm.
They kicked off their day with an American ceremony and followed it up with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony during cocktail hour.
Traditional Chinese wedding banquets consist of 8-10 courses served family style, with each dish representing something different, so guests chowed down on an 8 course family style Chinese-fusion meal.
And seeing as they met on a dance floor… the dance party was no joke.
(And as it happens, their wedding was featured on weddingchicks. Heck, yes.)
Big thanks to Jess for being my right-hand lady and second shooting.
